Nothing Goes According to the Daily Plan and Headaches with Computers

Posted on December 30, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Sunday morning and we have rain again, which is a good thing. One can never have enough rain and for those who have lived through droughts or are in one now like I am you know what it is like. By 6 PM enough rain had fallen to keep Georgia from breaking the all time [...]

Saturday Shopping a Buzz Cut and Some Musing

Posted on December 29, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

With yesterday’s rains out of the way and with Saturday turning sunny, I make a short list of items to pickup from Kroger. On the way I drop off prescription refills at Rite-Aid and do the shopping to top off our weekly supply. I usually keep a five day supply of frozen in the freezer [...]

Friday Downpour and the Odds with Usual Ends

Posted on December 28, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Friday morning and I head out the door to get the morning paper. Heavy fog everywhere but no obvious signs of rain yet. Breakfast, I have pancakes with sausage thanks to Aunt Jemima breakfast package. Aunt Jemima also has a rather good breakfast sandwich combination too. By the time I am done and gather the [...]

Thursday Gets Off to a Bad Start

Posted on December 27, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

I am back to getting up by 6:15 AM to shower and then have breakfast before getting to the morning paper while watching the local and national news. By 8:30 AM, the local news events go bye-bye as word of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s assignation arrives stateside here in the United States. It [...]

Post Holiday Return to Work and Rehab

Posted on December 26, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Wednesday morning and in some parts of Atlanta elevated fly-over ramps have become cold enough to freeze which in turn is causing commuting headaches. I am happy I do not travel on the interstates and so I watched the morning news after breakfast to see the after Christmas antics of people befuddled and trying to [...]

Tuesday Gift Day and Watching Gas Prices Go Nuts

Posted on December 25, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Many with children were obviously up early and unwrapping gifts or were trying to assemble the new computer, bicycle, or other complicated toy. I stayed in bed until 7:15 AM as it was raining outside and being that it was cold, I wanted to remain in the warmth of my bed for a bit longer.

I [...]

Laid Back Sunday

An early start to Sunday as I was up by 7:00 AM to get the paper and have breakfast. I wanted to start on some of the chores I have to do this week so after breakfast, I started the laundry. Offsetting the laundry chore, I set about catching up on the recorded shows from [...]

Saturday Own Rehab and Computer Tinkering

Posted on December 22, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Let’s face it, after a long week one can be exhausted and without exception I was too. I slept in late, the four-legged fur-ball up and about at 6:30 AM leaving me in bed. For the moment, no reason to do any shopping or other chores for the moment, I just wanted to sleep. I [...]

Friday Ends and Christmas Break Begins

Posted on December 21, 2007. Filed under: Blogroll |

Friday morning, it is dreary and chilly with sprinkles of rain falling. Heading into work, I stop off at Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee. Arriving at the cop shop, I take a peek into the break room and the party leftovers are starting to become scientific experiments and the watch commander stopping by [...]

    • Finding the Comfort Zone October 20, 2009
So with October coming to an end, one finds the weather wackier than normal. We were hitting the low 30’s in parts of Atlanta where the temperature is not supposed to see past the 50 degree mark.  I am of course not being helped by the radical shift in temperatures with my rheumatoid arthritis kicking into [...]
