Day After and Meltdown at Regal Cinema Stadium

Posted on December 25, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

Christmas Day, it finally arrived. I opened a couple of gifts I had under the tree, one a glass angel tree ornament went straight onto the tree where it captured the surrounding light from the different lights; changing color as your perspective changed.
My second gift a picture frame from a coworker will be put to [...]

Giving Thanks for What We Do Have

Posted on December 23, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

This is Christmas Week, and time to reflect on what we really do have. Some perhaps have high hopes for materialistic things, that special got to have toys or electronic gadgets.

There will be those who are not going to have anything but what they already have. They will be truly blessed, and I am [...]

Nine Holes Covered and Back to Work

Posted on December 20, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

I felt I had enough time to recover from my second shoulder surgery and so Tuesday, with some help the surgical dressings were removed and the nine holes left behind from the surgery were bandaged. Wednesday morning, I returned to work still sore but at least able to work.
The week had been busy with accident cases, [...]

Pain Slowly Passes, Still There Are Limits

Posted on December 14, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll | Tags: , |

I am on my third day out of shoulder surgery, the complications are not as bad as the first time. The Mack Truck feeling of being run over has passed too. I carry out the weekend chores rather slowly, laundry is as light as possible. There is pain, but treatable with OTC medications the likes [...]

Another Surgery is Done

Posted on December 12, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

This week ends with the completion of my second shoulder surgery, Thursday morning at St. Josephs Hospital. This time around, I avoided the overnight hospital stay and was home by 2 PM after a start of the surgery at about 8:15 AM.
I am restricted to the house for recovery, (again better to have the home [...]

Into the Surgery We Go Again

Posted on December 8, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

Well the visit to the doctor was decisive. I have a bone spur growing and going into places one does not need a bone spur. It is likely the culprit that caused the loss of feeling in my left hand and arm back in November. I was lucky someone cancelled their surgery so I was [...]

Busy Week an MRI is done and Destruction Testing of Dog Toys

Posted on December 6, 2008. Filed under: Blogroll |

Well the week has been busy; getting caught up with the accident reports has been my goal. The weather has not been all that good for riding, though if my shoulder was better I might have ridden the Burgman more.
Georgia has been getting badly needed rain this week but the shoulder aches were not being [...]

    • Finding the Comfort Zone October 20, 2009
So with October coming to an end, one finds the weather wackier than normal. We were hitting the low 30’s in parts of Atlanta where the temperature is not supposed to see past the 50 degree mark.  I am of course not being helped by the radical shift in temperatures with my rheumatoid arthritis kicking into [...]
