K-Cup No More and Other Stuff
Well, it was a bit of a shock to learn that my local Kroger store has suddenly without explanation stopped selling K-Cups. I like the K-Cups as I don’t have to waste a whole pot of coffee and I have a fresh cup when I want it without the need for reheating the said previously made stuff in the microwave nuke zapper.
I also will now have to find another source for my K-Cups of Earl Grey Tea too. I am fortunate to have a Walmart Super Center nearby so at least they will have them.
Just when you think you can save money on some things, the retailers pull the rug out from underneath you.
I have been dealing with kidney stones of late and adding to my headaches is the fact that I am diabetic. It is no fun when your blood sugar is going nuts because of the kidney infection and taking Cipro to clear it up.
I just hope the procedure to get the stones out of the kidney worked this time otherwise I will have to live with the stones being unable to pass. Already having two surgeries this year has stretched the limits of my so called health insurance.
With the situation of not having really great health insurance, I was forced to give up the Harley-Davidson Touring Ultraclassic that I rode. With one hospital bill already over five thousand dollars, I could not hope to pay for the motorcycle and its associated insurance and pay for the medical bills and the prescription medications which of course are not fully covered by the crappy Express Scripts prescription coverage.
A word of advice if an employer wants to use Beechstreet Insurance and its associated companies tell them hell no and look for something else. Just do a Google on Beechstreet and you will understand, and one can ponder why their home office is in New Jersey.
